Head Chef and Owner

Meet Mona Prasad trained at the prestigious École Lenôtre in Paris. She’s the creative genius who dreams up our delicious menu and whips up those mouthwatering pastries you love. She is hands-on in the kitchen, leading her team with a blend of passion and fun. Her goal? To make every bite a sweet adventure. So, whenever you enjoy our treats, you’re tasting a bit of Mona’s culinary artistry and love for baking!

Our Bakery Story

Welcome to Paris Calling Pastry! I’m Mona, and my journey from biotech executive to pastry chef is what flavours every creation we offer.

I once thrived in a demanding biotech career but held a cherished dream to open my own bakery. Realizing that opportunities are created, not found, I left my high-paying job and ventured to Paris. There, I immersed myself in the art of French pastry for a year.

Upon returning, I founded Paris Calling Pastry. Here, we craft everything in-house, from scratch, using the finest ingredients to ensure every bite is perfect. Our pastries blend traditional French techniques with modern creativity, making each piece a delectable work of art.
